JOSÉ ANTONIO QUESADA

Public Accountant, graduated from the UIA, with major degrees from ITAM and
FIU in Administration and Accounting. He currently serves as Counselor and
Commissioner in different public and private companies, in Mexico and in the US.
Active member of the IFRS Advisory Council. He is an Associate Consultant at
the firm Maat Advisory, on issues of Normative and Regulatory Analysis in
Banking and the Financial Sector. He was an official at the CNBV in the period of
2018-2021 as Vice President of Regulatory Policy. During the pandemic period,
he participated in the issuance of emergency regulations. For three years he was
in charge of the ITESM Business School EGADE BS), at its Santa Fe campus and
for 33 years within the PWC firm.
